3D Laser Scan Survey | Browns Building | Bristol

3D Building Survey Bristol

We were appointed to undertake a 3D Building Survey for a busy Bristol restaurant. We laser scanned the site using a Leica C10 Scanner working outside of peak restaurant hours. The use of Scanning Technology allowed us to complete the full survey in 2 days with minimum disruption to tenants. It also allowed for a good line of site to all elements critical to the building.

AutoCAD Plans

The drawup was in completed in AutoCAD 2104 producing scale floor plans, external elevations, roof plans and 2 No sections (front to back & side to side) as well as a topographical survey of the immediate context. In addition all plans were provided as PDF plots.

Production of plans was to 1/100 scale or RICS band E. Once a building has been scanned it is possible to produce drawing to many different scales / levels of accuracy. An example of a 1/50 drawup is the Llanbrynean Farmhouse survey.
